Reporting to the East Coast Regional Sales Manager, as the Business Development Specialist, your role will focus on acquiring new business to enhance Ballance's current customer base.
You’ll leverage your expertise in securing new opportunities through industry associations (here’s where your ag networks come in) and be enough of an extrovert to pick up the phone and initiate cold calls. The role is all about building relationships, understanding the customer and being a trusted advisor.
A standard workday may include:
- Identifying growth opportunities for Ballance's customer base across the East Coast region.
- Exploring possibilities through industry connections.
- Coaching and mentoring current Nutrient Specialist (Sales Reps) to expand their markets.
- Supporting and leading the team to new heights to innovate and grow.
