Tractor and Machinery Sales Person - Cromwell

About Us:
Agricentre South is a trusted and established company that specializes in providing top-quality farm machinery and equipment to farmers and agricultural businesses in Central Otago. We are authorized dealers for CASE IH and New Holland tractors, renowned brands known for their reliability and innovation in the agricultural sector.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tractor and Farm Machinery Salesperson at Agricentre South, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Sales and Customer Relations: Promote and sell CASE IH and New Holland tractors and farm machinery to farmers and agricultural enterprises, building strong relationships and understanding their needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of CASE IH and New Holland tractors and machinery, providing expert advice and recommendations to customers.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent after-sales support, including product training, troubleshooting assistance, and ongoing customer care.
  • Administration: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory management using computer systems.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our sales, service, and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:
  • Background in agriculture (farming or related field), with a good understanding of agricultural practices and equipment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • A sense of humour that helps build rapport and connection with farmers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented individual.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to farmers and agricultural customers.
